John Presocki passed away Friday, November 11, 2005 at the age of 85. He was born October 11, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Albert and Josephine (Galka) Przygocki and lived most of his adult life in Mid-Michigan. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, enjoyed listening to polka music, was a farmer and a retired General Motors tool and die maker. On September 2, 1950 he married Emily (Millie) Czubak and she survives him. Also surviving are his children, Ronald (Cindy) Presocki, Nancy Presocki, and Rosalie Mascho all of St. Johns; five grandchildren, Stacy Mascho, Sarah, Jennifer, Michael, and David Presocki; two brothers, Stan (Ann) Przygocki of Westminster, CA, Bert (Pat) Przygocki of Leslie; three sisters, Laura Moore of Westminster, CA, Helen (Glen) Francisco of Waterford, MI, Sophie Emmenth of Royal Oak, MI. He was preceded in death by one brother Frank. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Monday, November 14, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 109 Linden St. St. Johns, with Rev. Fr. Eoin Murphy as Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday, with a Vigil Service at 8:00 pm at the Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns 989-224-4422.
